Hi everyone! Today I finished my literacy task for the week. This week we had to read a book called Stop/Go by David Geary. for out create task we had to create a poster using google draw or Canva. This task was fun to do because I got to use my imagination and create the poster using Canva. GOODBYE!
Scene:
The hitch-hiker and the narrator ran out of money so they decided to pickpocket a rich man for food and gas money at the horse racing.
Narrator: Kensi
Hitchhiker: Hailey
Narrator: We’ve run out of money, what should we do?
Hitchhiker: Have you already forgotten what I do for a living?
Narrator: You’re not actually going to, are you?
Hitchhiker: It’s fine stop being so paranoid. I’ve been doing this for many years and not once have I gotten caught.
Narrator: True but I’m just going to stand in the corner and act like I don’t know you.
Hitchhiker: C’mon it’ll be fine i’ll teach you!
Narrator: It’s wrong, I just can’t do it.
Hitchhiker: Fine then you baby, wait here I’ll be back in 5 minutes, then we’ll have enough money for everything we need for the next couple of days.
Narrator: Fine, but if you get caught I’m leaving you here.
Hitchhiker: Whatever, that won’t happen though.
Narrator: Just saying, if it does.

Today in literacy we are Studying on Character traits based on “The hitch hiker” By Roald Dahl. We are also learning to Identify and analyze different characters from the way they think, talk, and act. Me and my Friend Hailey had to write a play about the book using the two main characters The Hitch Hiker and the Narrator. We had to Rewrite the situation and act it out. unfortunately Me and Hailey didn’t get to perform it but we did get to finish it.
About the characters:
Narrator – The Narrator is a Brave, Kind, and a trusting Character to be around.
Hitch-Hiker – The Hitch-Hiker is a Sneaky, Dishonest, And a Likable character to Be around with
